Great weekend for Gator sports with volleyball & basketball wins

December 10, 2017

Up & down the east coast, the Gators tasted victory this weekend.

Gator men's basketball played in the Never Forget Tribute Classic in Newark, vs 17th-ranked Cincinnati.  After a tough week back in the O'Dome which included 2 losses in bouts of poor shooting, the guys in orange & blue bounced back versus a quality opponent.

Egor Koulechov scored 21, Jalen Hudson poured in 18, and senior point guard Chris Chiozza made clutch shots late to fend off the Bearcats, 66-60.

As a "thank you" to our top Gainesville agents, Savvy Gainesville had a suite at the Prudential Center!

We also monitored the women's volleyball elite 8 match back in Gainesville, where the Gators made a furious comeback vs USC to make it to the Final 4 in Kansas City!

All in all, this was a pretty great weekend to wrap up the fall semester!
