Earth Fare market opens in Gainesville

August 12, 2015

Earth FareEarth Fare is an upscale supermarket that started in North Carolina in the 1970s.  Today, they have about 40 stores throughout the Southeast & Midwest.  And as of today, their newst store is in Gainesville, just south of Archer Rd on 34th St.

Their claim to fame is not selling any foods with high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, artificial colors/sweeteners, or synthetic growth hormones.  Their motto is "we read labels so you don't have to."  Neat!

Aside from the groceries, they also have really yummy prepared foods like sandwiches, pizza, baked goods, and even juices.

Earth Fare should be a competitor with stores like Trader Joes & Fresh Market here in Gainesville.
