With 4 months in the books, 2015 looks like a good year for NW & SW Gainesville.
NW Gainesville is up almost 5% so far & SW Gainesville is up about 3%. That represents nice, healthy appreciation. Market activity also appears healthy:
Remember we haven't hit the typical higher-activity summer months yet. Given that, I think we can assume given current conditions, SW Gainesville will end up with higher monthly activity in 2015 and NW Gainesville should be similar (if not a little higher) than 2014.
It's interesting to note, however, that Haile Plantation (SW Gainesville's largest community) is already seeing higher activity in 2015:
All in all, it's a balanced market. NW Gainesville has about 6 months of supply and SW Gainesville has 7.5 months. Not a bad time to buy or sell!
